Mother’s love can’t be counted. It runs far, far to deep. It vastness has no ending. It’s eternal. It does not sleep. It comes in varied clothing. In many shades of flesh. An unlimited store of love, in every style of dress.

Her love lives all around us, every single day. She asks for very little, and gives it all away. She stands beside us always, through each and every fall. Her love has no conditions, not any, at all. Her warmth will revive you, and keep your spirit strong. She loves you even if, you’ve done wrong.

Mother’s love is brilliant. Magical too. For you there isn’t anything, she won’t do. Sometimes her love seems stifling. Others down right mean. With words like No. Not right now, or go to your room and clean.

Her love wants for you, more than you ever could. It dreams bigger, hopes more, than you ever would.  Mother’s love won’t settle for anything less. She gets up every morning to prepare your very best.

At times her love grows weary, but this she’ll never say. You can’t stop it, or change it, or make it go away.
She was the very first, love of our life. She held us and dressed us and stood us up right. With every harsh word, there was love in her fight. With every grounding and scolding, her lips pursed tight.

There’s no other love, as selfless and strong. No love is as precious, nor as long.
God bless mothers. We need more like you.
Imagine what this world could do?

The next time you feel tired, or think you can’t. Stop the thought, stop the rant. For the truth is you can do anything – you darned well please. You’re strong, independent, you have everything you need.

And my child remember this – your love is eternal too.
You just needed some time to grow, before you knew.
